Our website links policy

This section summarises the UKFST policy on website links from and to the ukfst.org domain.

Links from this site to other websites

This site may contain links to websites operated by parties other than UKFST. Such links are provided for your convenience only. Links to third party sites are identifiable because clicking on them will display the third party website’s URL.

When you access any other website by means of a link from this website you should understand that the UKFST does not control such websites and is not responsible for their content. Inclusion of links to such websites does not necessarily imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.

UKFST cannot guarantee that these links will work all of the time and has no control over the availability of the linked pages.

It is UKFST’s policy to obtain permission to link to other websites, and contextual links are provided to sites deemed by us to be appropriate to UKFST business, aims and objectives. However, such links are subject to the Disclaimer above.

Linking to UKFST website

UKFST is committed to working with other organisations which share its aims and encourages the development of websites which will help promote the development and support of stroke-specific training and education.

UKFST are happy to receive requests from organisations and individuals to link from their own websites to the UKFST website.  Any such links must not infer any endorsement or sponsorship by UKFST of your products, services, or site content (including any opinions expressed therein) outside of pages relating to the specific content of UKFST endorsed training or educational programmes. Nothing on your site should imply that any part of UKFST’s site is part of your own site and any page or file that you link to on UKFST site must be called with its URL displayed.

The UKFST retains the right to withdraw permission to link to its site without explanation or notice.

Requests for reciprocal links

UKFST may receive requests from other organisations and individuals for reciprocal website links. Websites that UKFST links to must be directly related to stroke-specific education and training or issues related to stroke-specific education and training.

We may link from our site to commercial sites whose primary purpose is to endorse or sell products or services. However, it should be noted that UKFST does not endorse or promote the organisation itself, only specific course/training provided by that organisation which has been endorsed by UKFST following a successful application for UKFST endorsement by that organisation.
